It doesn't really inspire my desire for the combat aspect of the game, but just makes me see it as a 9-step chore to get the rewards from it. This doesn't really do anything but reward fairly typical amounts of fighting and even when provoking non-fighters to fight, it only really provokes them to seek out the easiest battles. This is like a Wishing Well and a Temple of Relics that applies both in and out of GE. The worse you can do is 40 goods/FP per day. However, 4 chances each day for a prize is still pretty descent. As far as fighting is concerned the release of this building assures the last ten players of the neighborhood will be repeatedly smashed into for plunder. This GB will not influence the battle aspect of the game at all since you can satisfy this by attacking the 9 weakest members of your neighborhood roll. Generally, at these levels you will get around 8 chances to win a prize and will likely average around 2-4 prizes a day.ĩ battles a day is hardly revolutionary. Some might even say not that much of a difference between level 58 and 84. They have a lecture series which takes place in the Indian Queen Tavern from time to time.As far as I can tell there's not that much of a difference between level 73 and level 84. Johnson Park is adjacent to the New Jersey Old Village and a great place to walk, picnic, etc. The current exhibition is "New Jersey Diners". Less than a mile down the road is the Cornelius Low House which has exhibitions on various topics. There is no pressure while walking around and the entire experience is free.
See my pictures below for a preview of what you will see. The tavern is staged with figures in period dress, photos and artifacts excavated from the area. Be sure to see the interior of the Indian Queen Tavern. The village is a collection of homes gathered from the surrounding area and date back to 1743 (Fitzrandolph House) including some built in the 1800's Homes are original, replicas or restorations.
If you arrive early, the village opens at 8:30 am, go to the Barracks or Visitor's Center and someone will open the houses you request to see. Official tours are conducted Tuesday-Friday (1:30pm) and Sunday (1:30pm). If you are interested in more history and detail about the village this is your best bet.
Information plaques are distributed around the property which indicate that by calling 73 you can receive a self-guided tour of the village.
